On Saturday, February 29th, The Student Excellence Foundation’s fourth annual “Swing Fore Student Excellence” event was held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Top Golf in Naperville. The event not only included food and golf but also a silent auction and raffle prizes. The proceeds went to support the learning opportunities of District 200 students through zSpace. This enhanced virtual reality application gives students new, interactive learning experiences. District 200 high schools plan to use the technology for virtual dissections in biology classes. Donations were made through buying tickets, and an online auction to raise money for virtual reality learning was open from February 27th to 29th.
